Where Does My Donation Go?

Direct Services

Many people think of direct services as the allocation of material resources to clients. While we are starting out as an education-based organization, our vision includes plans to provide transitional and sober living housing to clients in the near future. Please see our "About Us" page for a more in-depth explanation of our short and long-term goals.

Staff

All labor has value and for many, time is our most valuable resource. By paying our staff a living wage, we ensure equity and longevity of the organization. (For more specific inquiries regarding pay scale and transparency, please email info@blancheranch.org)

Test Vouchers

Every GED practice test costs $6, every official test costs $34. Most students will have to take each of the four subjects multiple times, making the process cost prohibitive. Blanche Ranch provides each of our qualifying students with free vouchers for these milestones, eliminating as many barriers to success as possible!

Study Materials

We keep our overhead as low as possible by facilitating all of our courses online; nevertheless, materials for each course are carefully curated and integrate materials that are often expensive.

Other Ways to Get Involved

If you believe in the Blanche Ranch cause, we can always use your signal boosts, partnerships, and collaborations! We aim to pay everyone who performs labor for us, but because we are new to this, we could definitely use volunteers who would then be first considered once we are able to create more paid positions.
